Dr. Johnson was born and raised in St Paul, Minnesota. He attended St Thomas Academy, the University of Minnesota (B.S. degree), and University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, (DDS Degree). He and his wife Julie live nearby in Mendota Heights (along with their two rescue dogs). They have three grown children that also live in the area. He coached hockey and baseball for 15 years and was a USA hockey referee for 12 years. As an experienced general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Johnson’s goal is to ensure his patients the highest quality of care and personal attention. Dr. Johnson has practiced for over 30 years in the Richfield and Edina area since graduating from the University of Minnesota school of Dentistry. At his state of the art office in Edina, Dr. Johnson provides comprehensive, full-service general dentistry. He is especially well known for his unique talent with aesthetic composite bonding (a very non-invasive conservative affordable way to rejuvenate and greatly improve your smile).

I grew up in Hibbing, MN, attended the University of St. Thomas, then received my post-graduate in Dentistry at the University of Minnesota in 2001. After graduating, I served as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy Dental Corps for three years. I have since been praticing in Edina for the past 22 years. My wife Stephanie and I reside in Edina with our 3 children; Graydon, Frances, and Freddie. I have many interests outside of dentistry which include spending time with my family, skiing, hunting, fishing, playing hockey and golf. Also, I am a member of the Edina-Morningside Rotary Club, an organization that gives me the opportunity to give back to the community to keep it growing and strong. As many of you may know, I am a 3rd generation dentist. Following in the footsteps of both my father and grandfather, I have had tremendous mentors who have inspired me to have the same passion for dentistry as they did.
